Colour was hugely important for Holly, in our initial consultation she already had a very clear vision for her colour palette – ‘bright but not garish – think Italian plaster’. Holly and her husband to be shared a love for Cornwall and really wanted a sense of the Cornish wildflowers to come through in the designs too. I grew a collection of sweet peas, calendula and daisy-like feverfew just with Holly in mind – and arranged them with garden roses, dahlias and peonies blooming in soft sunset shades in-keeping with the beautiful colour palette Holly had envisaged.
