Meadow-inspired flowers for an intimate countryside wedding
For Freddie and Shekinah, sustainability was at the heart of decision making for their wedding day, but that didn’t mean that everything didn’t look absolutely beautiful! We spotlighted the best of September garden flowers: dahlias, roses, sunflowers and cosmos surrounded by sculptural seedheads and grasses carefully gathered and dried throughout the growing season. True to the weddings farm setting, I added flowering herbs at every possible opportunity. The result was an abundant meadow-inspired display which celebrated the season and place whilst also being entirely in keeping with the locally-grown ethos.
